International Day of the Girl

Today, 11 October, is the ‘International Day of the Girl’ and our Women With Drive team wants us to celebrate by recognising the amazing girls in our lives.

“Whether it’s your daughter, niece, granddaughter or goddaughter – all of us will know an awesome young girl who deserves recognition for the achievements she makes, or the happiness she brings to people’s lives,”

Says Alison Fisher, Chief People Officer.

“Millions of girls across the world face adversity that hinders their education, training and entry into the workforce, but step-by-step, we are challenging this status quo and, in the UK, programmes such as Women with Drive helps everyone, female or male, understand the importance of equality within the workplace.”
