Triumphant Kilimanjaro climbers return to the UK

Women With Drive’s ten-woman team is safely back in the UK after battling heavy snow, and temperatures well below freezing in their climb up Mount Kilimanjaro.

The women took on the challenge as part of Women With Drive’s ambition to celebrate female achievements, and encourage women to reach their full potential. Several members of the team will be ready to tell their story at Thursday’s Women With Drive event.

As well as reaching the ‘roof of Africa’, the Kilimanjaro team also aims to raise £20,000 for Wooden Spoon, a UK charity that supports disabled and disadvantaged children. They’ll announce their final fundraising total on Thursday.
